Others were to cast lots for Messiah's garments
Old Testament Prophecies
Psalm 22:18
They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.
New Testament Fulfilment
Matthew 27:35
When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting
lots.
John
19:23, 24
When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them
into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment
remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to
bottom. 24 Let's not tear it, they said to one another. Let's decide by
lot who will get it. This happened that the scripture might be
fulfilled which said,They divided my garments among them and cast lots
for my clothing. So this is what the soldiers did.

Messiah's bones were not to be broken
Old Testament Prophecies
Exodus 12:46
It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the
house. Do not break any of the bones.
New Testament Fulfilment
John 19:31-36
Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special
Sabbath. Because the Jews did not want the bodies left on the crosses
during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the
bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of
the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the
other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already
dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers
pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and
water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is
true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you
also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would
be fulfilled: Not one of his bones will be broken.

Messiah was to die as a sacrifice for sin
Old Testament Prophecies
Isaiah 53:5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our
iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by
his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each
of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the
iniquity of us all.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of
his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for
the transgression of my people he was stricken.
10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and
though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his
offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper
in his hand. 11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light
of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will
justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will
give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with
the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered
with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors.
New Testament Fulfilment
John 1:29; 11:49-52
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, Look, the
Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
49 Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year,
spoke up, You know nothing at all! 50 You do not realise that it is
better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole
nation perish. 51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest
that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, 52
and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of
God, to bring them together and make them one.
Acts
10:43; 13:38, 39
43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him
receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
38 Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the
forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through him everyone who
believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from
by the law of Moses.
